Handling arrogant members can be daunting, especially those who appear to have both significant budget and an inflated ego.
While it may feel tempting to roll your eyes at their antics, remember that these big spenders aka "Whales" are important to your success once they find you.
The big tippers help not just financially, they also help to raise your profile and overall standing in the industry.

UNDERSTAND THEIR POSITION
To handle arrogant members effectively, you need to try to understand and identify with their mindset and position.
Many of these individuals equate their financial success with superiority, which can lead to arrogance.
Through my experience in this industry I have discovered that the ultra high-income earners are more likely to display egotistical traits than the low to middle income earners.
I must stress that this is not always the case. There are some kind, real and humble Whales out there. I've met some!
However.... identifying the ones that do have the arrogant tendencies can help you strategically tailor your interactions to meet their needs for validation and status.
Very importantly you must do this whilst still maintaining your own boundaries and need for being respected as a cam model.
RESPECT TO GAIN RESPECT
Every Whale spending money on cam sites should be treated with respect, regardless of their general attitude.
Acknowledging their position and siding with them can de-escalate potential big-ego behaviour.
Simply being agreeable with them can make them feel valued and get them on side.
Top Tip: Try not to bite if they throw down the arrogance card. This will make them learn you're not easily provoked or a pushover which helps command their respect in return.
Be cool with them and they'll most likely be cool with you!
SET CLEAR BOUNDARIES
While accommodating their needs is important, highlighting clear boundaries is equally vital.
Outline the behaviours you find acceptable on your cam model bio and make it clear what you do not tolerate.
If an arrogant member says or does things that push your buttons, calmly remind them that you love them being around, but your boundaries must be respected as much as theirs deserve to be.
FOCUS ON NEUTRALISERS
Big spenders can often have an inflated sense of entitlement, because they are used to getting all the attention.
To them, money is power and is often their key focus while they throw it around. It is a game, and an ego massage when models or other members big them up for being the "OG" tipper.
To neutralise this, direct their energy towards constructive engagements with you, and establishing their requirements.
Instigate chat about their fantasies and find out what really makes them tick (other than spending money).
Top Tip: Show them you are in tune with their needs as this affirms your role as an attentive cam model. This can help neutralise ego and reduce any sense of superiority.
USE HUMOUR WISELY
A dash of humour can ease tension and create rapport, but use it carefully.
You don’t want to appear too sassy or condescending as they'll view you as the arrogant one! This will trigger their ego and the default reaction is generally a put-down of some form.
Top Tip: Be light-hearted or tell a bad joke to break make them warm up and appreciate your fun side!
BIG SPENDER APPRECIATION
Everyone likes to feel appreciated, most of all, the Whales!
A sincere "thank-you" for their generosity, sent as a private message, can reinforce that you value their lucrative interactions.
Showing kindness and appreciation, even to the most smug of spenders, opens doors to harmonious relationships with them.
The aim is always to try to build a mutual respect, as this is how you ultimately handle them.
BE THE BIGGER PERSON
Be strong, recognize and accept when a situation has become unmanageable.
Not every interaction with a big spender, despite money being involved; will lead to a pleasant feeling at the end of it.
You should always maintain your dignity and mental well-being as this is more important than the money.
Top Tip: If a member remains persistently rude and it makes you feel crappy, tell them that you might not be the right fit for their needs.
This can be as simple as saying politely, “I’m sorry, but your attitude does not sit right with me. Maybe I'm not the right camgirl for you.”
If they change their attitude because they genuinely won't want to lose you, then you've won the battle!
If they swim off into the Ocean, then their ego cannot be tamed and you've done the right thing. You've saved your sanity and proved you're the bigger person.
The beauty of cam sites is there are always more members and more big spenders around the corner.
UNDERSTAND THEIR MOVEMENTS
Adult cam sites are high turnover nature. Whales tend to move around models and they often move from site to site.
It is not usual for the same ones to stick around for longer than a matter of weeks or months. Many big spenders are flash-in-the-pans.
You never know when the next one might be about to swim into your chat room, or lurk for a while observing before interacting.
