Let's make a start on YOU and what YOU need to do to get there... BE CLEAR OF YOUR OBJECTIVES First of all, have a think about your financial situation and what is is that's bothering you or making you feel you're lacking financially. What's the pain point(s)? This is the start of the planning process. You ' ll need to do a lot of thinking about this, to help bring clarity to the situation and start to make an action plan (it's fun to think of this as your own type of personal business plan). For example: Are you a mother and need to earn flexible income from home to support your family? Are you stressed trying to meet loan or credit cards payments? Do you need to earn more money each month to not only cover bills, but live a better life generally? Do you need to earn £XXX amount more a month to be able to afford to buy and run a car? Do you need to raise £25,000 as a deposit to move out of a current living situation that's not serving you well, and make a start on the property ladder? Do these things: Identify specific issue(s), and trust me when I say if you tackle it head on, you can easily improve your financial situation and become prosperous. Envision earning enough money to resolve those issues. This will get you into an excited and productive money-making state of mind. Strengthen this prosperity thought process by thinking about what achieving financial freedom means to you in the long term. What problems will it prevent later on, and how can you see your life changing for the better? Visualise the outcomes, in colourful pictures. The people, the places, the emotions, the celebration, and how empowered you'll be once prosperous! Document your thoughts as a creative flow to bring the vision to life. Some suggestions: Use a journal or planner to make notes as bullet points (simple way) Brainstorm your objectives and visions as a word cloud (simple way)) Make a funnel or pyramid chart putting things in order of priority (technical, structured) Sketch ideas for solutions and future prosperity dreams as pictures (dreamy) Write down motivational quotes that relate to your prosperity goals (powerful) Cut and stick pictures or craft things aligning with your visions in a scrapbook (dreamy) Use post-it notes and a pin board (simple and effective) Scrapbooking is a dreamy creative way to document objections, visions and goals which puts a positive spin and makes the process enjoyable Scrapbooking is something I've had fun with over the years, finding images in magazines that align with my visions, cutting and sticking and flicking through these often to keep me hungry for achieving my goals. It may sound geeky by I also enjoy making pyramid or funnel charts, with goals ordered in priority, key points relating to the goals, timescales and projections. That might sound a bit technical but it's a creative process that works for me. I also love brainstorming and doodling word clouds, adding motivational quotes, highlighting them in colour or adding oversized speech marks. Choose a method which suits you! Be imaginative and express your prosperity desires as this is an important part of the creative thought process which leads to prosperity. The physical and visual elements of documenting really work as they make things seem so tangible. These methods can also be added to as you go along, or you and try new methods to see which resonates best. Top Tip: Factor in some realistic timescales with a reward or celebration at the end. You could do this as numbered goals or as a hierarchy style chart, putting things in order of priority or as short, medium and long term goals. Creatively documenting objectives, visions and goals helps create a plan for financial prosperity! You'll find doing this highly motivating and also relaxing! I still creatively document regularly myself at times I need to plan out a financial goal that I intend to use my work to achieve. What I especially love about this... The creative process aways helps me to set the intention. I am able to figure out the workflow process more clearly. Putting timescales down in writing ensure I do not procrastinate or snooze on the idea. Take as long as you need to fulfil this exercise. Do it over hours, days or weeks, until you feel you have a strong vision for financial prosperity that makes you feel motivated and ready to take action. Top Tip: Refer back to your documented creative flow as a daily reminder of your mission to fulfil. This will help you keep going! SET FINANCIAL GOALS Having worked out what needs addressing and painting that vision for successful prosperity outcome(s), the next step is to set specific financial goals. These need to be realistic and they need to be achievable. If they're not, you'll be at risk of overwhelm and struggling to fulfil the financial prosperity outcomes that will change your life for the better. I find a good way is to break down bigger financial goals into chunks, target income figures quarterly for example. The income figures need to be specific to cover specific costs in your objectives, and you should add the figures to your journal notes/scrapbook. You could even pop them on a calendar or in a diary so you can relate them to specific date targets. This heightens the sense of self-discipline. Deadlines bring a sense of pressure - which is a productive state to be in. Add goals, income targets and target dates to a calendar for extra self-motivation! Specific income figures may be difficult to define at first, but you'll get used to it in time and eventually be able to plug figures out of thin air, the same way I do. To begin the process, I suggest you ask yourself questions that make you think clearly about specific amounts of money. For example: How much money do you need to earn as your target income per week, per month or per year, to help you reach your goals? What do you need as your bare minimum base income to cover all your overheads? (more about how to work this out in Step 7). What amount of money will solve financial issue(s) you need to resolve, and in what timescales? How much income do you want to see in that savings account you're about to open, one year from now? How about two, or five years from now? (I highly recommend opening a savings account even if you only have £50/$50 to put in to start with, as this helps to set the intention). What amount of surplus income do you need to have as disposable income each month, after paying taxes? These are all highly thought-provoking questions to help with the money target defining process. It is how you put financial value on short, medium and long term financial goals that are going to change your life for the better. BUILD A STRONG IDENTITY With objectives, vision and financial goals set... it's time to get to work and tap into that uncapped earning potential to become financially prosperous! It's yours for the taking - so what to do now? Build a strong identity! Your identity and niche will help grow your popularity and shape your success. Top Tip: It is very important to get to work on building your identity imminently, because establishing a strong identity will help you stand out amongst thousands of other cam models. Carve out your identity and niche on cam, to stand out from the rest! Having a strong identity attracts a dedicated fan base of members who will become your regular supporters and tippers. Be sure to: Carve out a niche and make it unique . Work on your skills and flaunt your most appealing traits. I always harp on about the need for being persistent when cam models come to me complaining that it always feels slow in their cam room. Being flaky, doing one hour then logging of, being there one week and not the next, does not cut it in this industry. The thing that bridges your plan to your goal is self-discipline! This is a serious job and income source. If you wish to be one of the hustle Queens making the big pay-outs week on week on cam, you have to learn to be self-disciplined and persistent. Keep referring back to your journal of objectives, visions, goals and income targets daily to help you stay on track! To achieve a high level of success, I'm not even talking about grinding out 30+ hours a week full time on cam. I have never worked full time on cam. I've only ever been a part time cam model, working just 16 or 20 hours a week online. I've made those part time hours very lucrative by building a strong identity and persona. Appealing to a certain type of member and monetising them very well. Having personally enjoyed a number of years of earning 6-figures-a-year on cam as a part timer, I can vouch for the fact it's realistic and achievable. If I can, you can! 16 hours a week is a good schedule of hours to aim for, as you should not find this overwhelming or leading to burnout. You can choose a schedule that fits around any other job you have, or important duties like caring for your children if you have them. Top Tip: Publish your schedule of camming hours and be sure to stick to it. This is how you build mutual loyalty with fans. If you're consistent, they'll be consistent in return. Persistence, combined with discipline, is the driving force which solves those financial issues and smashes those prosperity goals! CONNECT WITH YOUR AUDIENCE A loyal fan base is key to for ongoing financial success in webcam modeling, so make them feel connected. Engage with them through interactive chat, social media, and personalized content. Do this ever week and you'll keep them "on your hook" and spending money regularly. Top Tip: Always respond to fan messages so they feel valued and their support is appreciated. This leads to increased tips and subscriptions. Like always attracts like, so to make a lot of money you need to level up and appeal to the members who have a lot of money to spend! Invest in your skills as a cam model to become a pro and reach your financial goals! Top Tip: Tweak the documenting in your journal/scrapbook as you grow and evolve as a cam model. This is how to keep levelling up and opening up more opportunities to limitless income! MANAGE FINANCES WISELY This will probably seem like the boring part. But do not under-estimate its importance! To achieve financial freedom and maintain it, careful money management is essential. Track your earnings, be watchful of expenses and make provisions to save some money rather than spend everything you receive in each pay out. Budgeting is sensible, and this can be done in simple terms by using a journal or online spreadsheet in Excel for example. Note down all essential costs - such as rent, utility bills, any applicable taxes related to your accommodation, costs relating to running a car or any pets you have, an amount you need for the weekly food shop, etc. Aim to set aside at least 20% - of all weekly or monthly income for paying income taxes, and prioritise the allocation of funds you need towards your goals. Ringfence 10% of the remainder - for savings or a pension fund so you can start building up a nest egg for when you're older. See what you have left over - as surplus or "disposable" income. This is what to put by for enjoying life's luxuries such as holidays, nights out, lunches with the girls, and maintenance - hair, nails, makeup etc. Keeping track of these figures helps you to see exactly where you're at week on week or month on month. It also enables you to see where you need to be more diligent in terms of expenditure, and what you can afford to be more extravagant with once in a while. Keep on top of your finances so you stay on track. Sharp financial management and documentation of figures will help you stay on track to meet your goals. It is also a smart way to figure out how much extra money you need to earn to meet your goals quicker. BELIEVE IN YOURSELF AND YOU'LL BUILD PROSPERITY AS A CAM MODEL How to instil self-belief? Here's my way! I help myself to believe in myself with a daily pep talk! I talk to myself when getting ready to work on cam! I'll be putting on makeup or looking through outfits to choose what to wear, muttering to myself. "You can do it, girl!" "You got this, girl!" "Almost at target, keep going!" "Get the job done, you're killing it!" ...etc etc. Giving myself a talking to, and most of all during those tough times like slower weeks on cam or times when I feel tired, pre-menstrual or not really in the mood to cam, is what self-motivates me! A pep-talk to reassure myself I am a professional in this industry. A pep-talk to assert me to believe that no matter what, I will make money. So... I tell myself I am going to slay! I remind myself I am not going to be happy with myself if I fail to reach my goals. I think about what I'd miss out on, or have to sacrifice if I don't reach my goals. I instruct myself to take action today . I tell myself copping out is not an option . I highly recommend you do all of this too! It fires up the mental self-programming needed to stay focussed on your motives - which is to eliminate those financial struggles - and achieve financial prosperity. Achieving financial prosperity as a cam model is within reach! You just need a clear set of objectives, vision and goals, and to maintain a motivated, believing, disciplined mindset to keep taking action! I hope my guidance helps. Relaxation and Mindfulness Relaxation and mindfulness practices such as deep breathing, yoga or meditation are proven to significantly calm the mind and help promote positivity. Even just a few minutes dedicated to relaxation and grounding each day can not only put you in a better vibe, it's a sweet little resilience booster. I do either meditation or breathwork daily, as well as yoga daily (minimum 10 minutes a day). These practices are honestly essential for me to thrive in this industry. I recommend you try them too! Regular Check-ins Part of effective mindfulness practice is setting aside time for regular self-assessments to gauge your own emotional state. Think about how you feel and anything that's bothering you, to identify triggers for stress, anxiety or anything else that could form a barrier to resilience. Listen to your body, your heart, your gut, and your mind. They tell you everything you need to know about your wellbeing. Identify and address your own internal insights. This can guide you to adjusting habits, routines or strategies to help create a better balanced work/personal life. An unbalanced work/personal life is often unhealthy, and this creates inconsistencies in resilience amongst a whole host of other discordances. Build Resilience Moving Forward Building resilience as a cam model is not just about surviving the tough times. It is about learning and growing through them. With a positive attitude and coping strategies, it is possible to turn even the toughest days into valuable lessons on the path to success. My own tried and tested incentives include offering a complimentary signup to the Snapchat content, or to the content creator page; or the benefit of being able to enjoy a free recorded copy of the private show after it’s ended. Incorporating these things often trigger members to hit that “Go Private” button as they simply don’t want to miss out! Exclusivity makes the offer even more tempting. For instance, you could say, "grab me for a private show within the next hour for the discounted price! You’ll get me exclusively to yourself, with no spies allowed!" This strategy creates a sense of urgency that prompts immediate response from fans who have spending power, but just need a call to action to kickstart them. TIMING MATTERS Timing can influence private show participation. By establishing which are your site’s peak traffic times, you can plan your private show strategies when more viewers are online to benefit. Having maximum possible viewers in your chat room can bring about a sense of competition between them, as they rush in to be that guy who benefits! Planning your cam show timings carefully will help you gain maximum benefit from traffic where there is a greater change of finding monetising fans. How a model appears on cam significantly affects how viewers perceive and connect with her. Whether just starting out or you’ve been in the game a while, polishing up your on-camera look can not only boost self-esteem; it will increase engagement more than you realise. Allow me to help you radiate more beauty and confidence on cam... from your next session going forward! SKIN CARE It is time to glow-up! Healthy, well-hydrated skin will have a positive impact on how you look to the viewers in your chat room. Here’s a simple guide on how to care for your skin, without needing fancy, expensive treatments: Cleanse : Clean the face twice daily with a gentle cleanser, suited for your skin type. Cleansing removes makeup residue, oil and dirt; in turn unblocking pores and creating a fresh base. Aim for a product that leaves your skin feeling clean, but not stripped of it's natural moisture. Exfoliate : Exfoliate 1-2 times a week to remove dead skin cells and reveal a smoother, brighter complexion. I would go with a non-scented product with natural ingredients for an effective yet gentle scrub. You could also make your own facial exfoliator using course sea salt, olive oil and either a couple of drops of essential oil (lavender or tea tree are great ones for skin), a pinch of cinnamon powder or a spoonful of honey. Gently work the exfoliator into the skin on the face in circular movements with the finger tips for 1-2 minutes, then splash off. Moisturize : Keep your skin hydrated as this is crucial to it's health and radiance. An un-fragranced moisturizer suited to your skin type, or with hyaluronic acid; can offer lasting hydration and help the skin stay looking youthful. Sunscreen : Protect your skin against harmful, aging sun rays and you'll be thankful for this not only today, but later in life. The majority of premature skin aging including fine lines and unsightly skin blotches (and worse still, melanoma); is down to sun exposure. So being responsible in the sunshine and investing in a broad-spectrum high protection SPF will pay its dividends. Sleep : Please try to get enough sleep! I know this can be challenging when you lead a busy life working, socialising, looking after the home and for some of you, raising children too. Sleep quality directly impacts the health and appearance of skin. Poor sleep often results in poor skin, so getting a good sleep hygiene and discipline in place is one of the kindest things you can do for your skin and your complete mental and physical wellbeing. Hydration : For glowing skin... Drink water! A person's skin is always a reflection of their lifestyle and how they nourish (or toxify) their skin cells. Try to limit caffeinated and fizzy drinks as these are full of chemicals that dehydrate and add nasties to the body, which comes out in the skin. Same goes for alcohol, I'm afraid! TOP TIP: The very best thing to drink for beautiful radiant skin is plain, humble water. It flushes toxins from the body and hydrates the complexion. Aim for 2 litres a day, or more in hot climates! A good skincare routine will see you radiate your best beauty on cam! MAKEUP TECHNIQUES Enhancing one's natural beauty with makeup is the defining line between a cam model who means business, and one who appears that they can't really be bothered to make an effort. You don't necessarily need to go heavy on makeup, as many guys love the natural look anyway. So, whatever your cam model persona and style, subtle works, or ultra glam works... Here are my techniques: Base Makeup Foundation : Opt for a liquid foundation that matches your skin tone perfectly. Ensure you blend well, especially around the jawline. Webcams do pick up colour mis-matches so be careful with the blending! Concealer : Skin imperfections are often highlighted on camera so, a high-coverage concealer is recommended to achieve an even skin tone appearance. Apply small dots to problem areas and gently blend them to avoid a caked look. Powder : If your skin is naturally oily, this will likely present a shiny look on cam. I recommend investing in a good quality face compact powder to blot the skin, and de-shine. Powder alone is also a great option of coverage if you have naturally great skin or don't like using liquid foundation. Just a few blots with the powder to make the skin look matt on cam works wonders. EYES TO MESMERISZE The eyes have it! Make an effort with your eyes as this will help you engage with your audience! Make them pop with these tips: Brows : Defined brows shape the face. Choose an eyebrow pencil similar to your hair colour or a little darker; or an eyebrow powder to fill in sparse brow areas and create an even, polished look. Eyeliner : Make the eyes really stand out by framing them with eyeliner. As a general rule, black liner makes an impact on brown eyes and lighter colour eyes work well with lighter shades of grey or brown liner. Subtle or heavy application works, depending on your cam model style. Concentrating on the upper eyelid (going lighter on the bottom) and leaving out the inner corners of the eyes makes the eyes look bigger. Eyeshadow : Choose shades that highlight your eye colour and make your eyes sparkle! For blue eyes, warm tones like bronze and copper shades work beautifully, while green eyes shine with purples, greens and neutrals. Brown eyes look amazing in warm earthy shades, pinks and neutrals. Adding white or cream shimmer powder or pencil in the corners of the eyes can brighten your gaze. Feel free to go bold on the colours for impact, but always the shades for a polished look. Mascara : If you don't use false lashes, applying two coats of mascara to your natural lashes will help achieve a voluminous look. Having full and feminine lashes will help you captivate your fans on camera! I recommend looking for a mascara with a smudge-proof formula to maintain the look throughout the session. CHEEKS AND LIPS Blush : A natural and pretty blush on the cheeks will add radiance to your lovely face. Depending on your shade of skin, choose colours like peach or soft pink if you have pale to tanned skin, or bronze or darker pink if you have a darker skin tone. Choosing the right blush shade will enhance your complexion, highlight your bone structure and add a touch of glam. If in doubt about which blush is best for you, experiment with a few shades and see what works with your skin tone and shade of your eyes. Follow the natural shape of the cheekbones when applying with a large soft brush, to really dazzle your fans with that glow! Lips : Lipstick or tinted gloss adds a finishing touch! Bright or neutral lip colours both work on cam and the chosen shade will set the tone for your overall look. Using a lip liner can prevent feathering and enhance the shape of your lips, but be sure to blend this in with your lip colour so as not to present the 'clown' look. TOP TIP: I recommend building a collection of lip colours to co-ordinate with different outfits. This will help your look stay fresh and exciting on cam. CARE FOR HAIR The condition of your hair will either complement or your dampen your look! So be mindful to exercise good hair care practices. Hair plays a pivotal role in how cam models are perceived on camera. Here are some tips to ensure your hair is camera-ready: Clean and Styled : The camera can be unforgiving and will always highlight greasy, unkempt hair. Imagine you're getting ready to go out on a date and want to make a great impression! Start with freshly washed hair and spend time styling it how you love it. This will make you feel sexy and boost your self-esteem on cam. If you have braids, these look great when well maintained. Hair Accessories : Have fun trying different looks! You can accentuate your hairstyle with accessories. Classic items like headbands or hair clips won't steal the spotlight but they can add visual appeal and help you rock a particular style on cam. Hats can work well too, if coordinated with the outfits. Maintain Volume : Flat hair can appear lacklustre, so if you have naturally fine hair, consider a volumizing spray or adding waves with straighteners or curling tongs to add bounce and dimension. Clip-in extensions or clip-on ponytails are fabulous as these add thickness and/length. You can also use these to change the overall colour of your hair. Just make sure you do a few practice runs to get the applications right as they can be fiddly. If needs be, secure any clip-in hair with kirby grips so they don't slip off whilst camming! Wigs do an amazing job of creating a voluminous look on cam, or for the purpose of completely changing the look. I recommend wearing a wig if you want your on-cam persona to appear different to your off-cam persona, either for privacy reasons or just to have a total look change whilst working. Ultimately the aim is to make hair look sexy and well-groomed on cam. Awesome hair always attracts more fans and better quality spenders! Having sexy, voluminous hair will increase confidence and help increase viewer engagement. PERSONAL GROOMING You simply can't neglect to put time and thought into personal grooming if you're seeking cam model stardom! The effort and attention to detail will always pay off... as the fruits of your labour will include making more money, boosting your reputation, gaining more fans and and increasing your self-confidence on cam. Personal grooming is an ongoing process, so make it part of your daily/weekly cam model maintenance program. If you do this, you'll be on the right track! From a model's standpoint it can be incredibly unnerving, embarrassing, demotivating and downright draining when you put in all the energy to create a show... to get nothing in return. For newbies trying to build their confidence in a live chat environment, the silence on the other side can feel like a black cloud. If you're one of these models close to having a meltdown... I feel you! Through all my years of camming this has been a source of irritation for me too at times. Even as an experienced model who is very confident online, I had to learn how to condition myself, toughen up and not get fazed by this issue. I did this by keeping my focus on the bigger picture and ultimately, the end gain. First of all, take a deep breath. As a cam model you have created a space for online interaction. Learning how to keep your environment lively and positive whilst managing inactive viewers with decorum, is the key to becoming resilient. So before you kick kick kick without mercy. ... Here is my advice on how to manage lurkers on cam sites. LORD HAVE MERCY (AND UNDERSTANDING) Understanding why these seemingly useless viewers are there and how their presence actually benefits you, is the key to managing them. Inactive users are commonly found on mass on live streaming webcam sites, where they are able to click and watch cam shows for free. Lurkers may be curious, unsure of how to join in, lost in translation, busy with work or other things in the background, or simply browsing. Some are just there for the free shows these nature of sites typically advertise, or do not have the funds to participate. Inactive users can behave differently depending on the platform. Some might come and go within a few seconds, clicking in and out whilst they browse rooms. Others linger for considerable time without saying a word. It is natural to feel exasperated when they do not engage. Most do not assume there is anything wrong in hanging around on cam sites, watching quietly. Most open live chat rooms are designed to be a free-for-all type scenario. Any cam model therefore working on such a site must understand that this will always be the case on this nature of platform. If you really want to live stream, you'll have to just accept that lurkers are part and parcel of the job. Level up, adopt strategies to manage your own expectations as well as deal with the inactive viewers. ENGAGE YOUR AUDIENCE One of the best ways to motivate lurkers to participate is by inviting them into the conversation. This doesn’t have to feel forced. A few simple techniques might encourage them to join in. Start by asking friendly, open-ended questions. For example, “How's your week been so far?” or, “which part of the world are you in?” Such questions allow viewers to chat without feeling pressured. Including interactive elements like trivia games or fun polls in your live shows, can also lead to greater viewer engagement. Mention that your best shows are performed when all viewers participate. This may encourage more to come forward and interact. I would always tell my audience that I'm here to host and entertain them, but crowd participation is essential because I can only speak for myself and not for everybody else. SET THE MOOD Creating a friendly atmosphere is key when dealing with inactive users. Ensure your background is warm and inviting. Instead of a cold, uninviting setup, aim for cozy vibes that make people want to join in. Give some thought to ambient decorations or themed visuals you can add, as these will likely capture your audience’s attention. For example, if you’re live streaming a sexy chat night, adorn your room with some twinkling lights, soft furnishings or use sensual tones in your background. You'd be surprised how visually appealing environment encourages site visitors to join in, rather than skulk in the shadows. COMMUNICATION STYLE MATTERS Your communication style will always influence your viewer interaction. Use an approachable tone with personable expression and body language. This way you'll come across as non-intimidating and this will coax people to speak up. Be sure to express gratitude towards your audience, even for small interactions. Simple phrases like “Thank you for all the support in my shows!" or "I appreciate you for being here!” - can make viewers feel valued. Have some ice breakers up your sleeve for when chat quietens down. Saying something something interesting or funny can help smash those awkward silence moments and kickstart engagement. For example, you might like to research some random facts, or look into unique fetish topics that would make kinky or amusing conversation threads. Anything fascinating or sensational usually triggers cam watchers to jump into conversational action (if they have it in them). Your communication style will always influence your viewers' behaviour! Be personable and use positive expression and body language and they will be more likely to interact. EMBRACE THE LURKERS Now this might be rather controversial of me to suggest... but before you get too enthusiastic with the kick button, have you ever thought to to love, not hate the lurkers? Instead of viewing them as annoying and unwanted, you could consider embracing them as part of your community. Let them know that their presence is appreciated and that it’s okay to watch quietly, providing they tip a little something to respect your time. Set a small tip on your tip menu as a "parking pass," "lurk and jerk" or "quiet watcher," and point this out in your chat room. Let them know they can hang and enjoy the show without having to chat. Make them understand that providing they send the appropriate tip, they have the right to remain. After all, all viewers add to your room presence, whether they chat or not. All viewers drive up your room stats and follower count. In the bigger picture, these are two elements of viewer engagement that will help you to become established. The more established you become, the more of the chatty, monetizing members will come into your room. You can create moments in your stream where you specifically address quiet viewers, letting them know they don’t need to feel shy about joining the conversation. Sometimes, a little reassurance can encourage them to open up. Remember, some viewers might prefer just absorbing the entertainment. As long as their presence is not disruptive, it’s perfectly fine for them to enjoy the show quietly! Also consider this... On one side of the coin, they might always only ever be lurkers. But on the other, they might be observing and working out which models they want to start building a connection with - with view to ultimately spending money on them. You can never tell their agenda so jumping the gun and kicking them too hastily might end up seeing you miss a great opportunity. SET YOUR BOUNDARIES While engaging with viewers is crucial, setting boundaries is equally important. If lurking becomes overwhelming and dampens your confidence, developing some rules can help. Establishing guidelines for interactions can keep your space lively and give you a greater sense of control. You could announce specific times for discussions or interactive activities. By setting these expectations, you encourage even quiet users to participate during those moments. These structures can transform your room from a quiet space to an engaging hub in no time. If the looky-lookies really do get to you, a request for them to engage or tip and a warning they risk being kicked is perfectly okay. Give them some time, then a warning, then a little more time, then kick. It's your room, your energy, your rules. I'd not want you to feel worn down by viewers who do not reciprocate your energy. Life's too short to be unhappy in work! I'm all about cam models protecting their vibe so if you need to drop-kick them in order to preserve your sanity, by all means click that button! REFLECT AND ADAPT Finally, managing inactive users is a continual learning experience. Reflect on what you're comfortable with and what boundaries you're prepared to set to make it clear how you expect viewers to behave in your chat room. Consider which strategies work best for you and your audience. Sometimes this will become clear through trial and error. Asking for feedback from your audience can help you refine how you manage things. Don't be shy to try out different approaches and be willing to adapt based on viewer responses. With time, you will discover what brings your sessions to life and what results in maximum crowd participation. HOW TO MANAGE LURKERS Handling inactive users on webcam sites can feel daunting, but with an open mindset and a reasonable level of acceptance, nailing this element of your live cam show management will vastly improve your experience. Your key to managing lurkers lies within developing engaging strategies, embracing your audience and staying cool. You can create an environment that encourages active involvement whilst accepting there will always be an element of passive involvement on this nature of platform. Give all viewers a little time to warm up in your chat room and I would suggest not being too frisky with the kick button. As they say, patience is a virtue. Some who appear to lurk may be biding their time... waiting for their moment to play, or on their way home from work, or anticipating the wife will go out... or considering who to spend next week's pay check on! UNDERSTAND THEIR POSITION To handle arrogant members effectively, you need to try to understand and identify with their mindset and position. Many of these individuals equate their financial success with superiority, which can lead to arrogance. Through my experience in this industry I have discovered that the ultra high-income earners are more likely to display egotistical traits than the low to middle income earners. I must stress that this is not always the case . There are some kind, real and humble Whales out there. I've met some! However.... identifying the ones that do have the arrogant tendencies can help you strategically tailor your interactions to meet their needs for validation and status. Very importantly you must do this whilst still maintaining your own boundaries and need for being respected as a cam model. RESPECT TO GAIN RESPECT Every Whale spending money on cam sites should be treated with respect, regardless of their general attitude. Acknowledging their position and siding with them can de-escalate potential big-ego behaviour. Simply being agreeable with them can make them feel valued and get them on side. Top Tip: Try not to bite if they throw down the arrogance card. This will make them learn you're not easily provoked or a pushover which helps command their respect in return. Be cool with them and they'll most likely be cool with you! SET CLEAR BOUNDARIES While accommodating their needs is important, highlighting clear boundaries is equally vital. Outline the behaviours you find acceptable on your cam model bio and make it clear what you do not tolerate. The aim is always to try to build a mutual respect, as this is how you ultimately handle them. BE THE BIGGER PERSON Be strong, recognize and accept when a situation has become unmanageable. Not every interaction with a big spender, despite money being involved; will lead to a pleasant feeling at the end of it. You should always maintain your dignity and mental well-being as this is more important than the money. Top Tip: If a member remains persistently rude and it makes you feel crappy, tell them that you might not be the right fit for their needs. This can be as simple as saying politely, “I’m sorry, but your attitude does not sit right with me. Maybe I'm not the right camgirl for you.” If they change their attitude because they genuinely won't want to lose you, then you've won the battle!
